Designed badges every dater earns from events, an in-page RSVP sheet that replaces the auth-page redirect, and a rebuilt public event page that finally previews well when shared in group chats.
Three big things landed at the end of April. Awards turn every event into a story daters can keep. The new in-page RSVP makes signing up feel native instead of a redirect-and-pray. And the public event page that hosts share now looks like a real preview when it lands in a group chat.
dash.dating/e/<your-slug>) now has a new card system and finally previews well in iMessage, WhatsApp, and group chats — not just a bare link.Awards are the “why come back” piece of the puzzle. Most daters at a typical event leave with zero matches — the math just doesn’t work for everyone. We wanted everyone to leave with something they earned. Badges turn an event into a story, not just a match count.
The in-page RSVP came out of watching too many new daters bounce when the auth redirect felt like a bait-and-switch. They tapped the share link expecting to RSVP, hit an auth screen, and didn’t come back. Now the RSVP sheet slides up in place — same page, no surprises.
The public event page redesign is for hosts who share their link in group chats. The old preview was a bare link with no image. The new one previews like a real event card.
